Government Implemented projects
The UNION government of India and the state governments across India have been implementing developmental and welfare projects in collaboration with the NGOs across the country. Each government have been implementing projects in favour of thepoor and the needy in various forms and instruments of the legislative institutions. The Government ministries, departments, commissions and boards have been empowered with government legislation to form, execute and evaluate welfare measures and proposals in collaboration with the NGOs across the nation.
There are numerous projects have been sanctioned by the governments to be implemented in the tribal areas. Some of the NGOs in the country solely depend the grants from the government. We need to consider the possibility of accessing legitimateresources from them.
There is a fear and anxiety from the part of the NGOs over coming redtapism, delay and corruption from the part of the authorities while accessing government funds.

But in spite of all these hurdles it is possible to get grants from the governments ofIndia to continue the services of the NGOs in favour of the poor and marginalised of the society.
